Random Events for round August 2076:

- a teenager runs away from home... (uh oh!)
- a forced chance card pass! (yay!)
- a deadline to write an article (blah)
- DUI! pay a $1000 fine and cannot drive for 10 years! (shame, shame!)

Of course, if I told you who these events happened to that would ruin all of the surprise. That, and the events will also have to be worked into the story. So keep an eye out for them in the next round :)

  1. Oh, brilliant I've read all the way to the next round! *claps hands in excitement*
I'll be continuing here soon, but now I need sleep. It's just past one in the morning.
Laura, thank you so much for a wonderful read so far! :)

  3. Thank god, I found this page back. I started over at the beginning because I wanted to read you comments and landed in some future story with a big scary helicopter!! I hopefully figure out later how to go back in time. It's late, I just want to read on today! :)

  4. Moondaisy, the round start pages are linked right there on the side bar, so you'll never lose them - but you know, it's your job to remember how far into the round you read ;)

  5. This is a beautifully written round! Beautifully created sims too! Did you make their faces all by yourself? Whenever I make some, they always turn out messed up or ugly! Have you published any real books? If you have, I would absolutely LOVE to read them!

  6. BookWorm, thank you! :) I usually do make most of my Sims, at least at the first generation level of most of the families. After that, it comes down to genetics. And that can either turn out well, or kind of mismatched.

Sometimes with the born-in-game Sims, you kind of have to slide the features around a bit to make them look more human. The game isn't always very good about making sure the features end up in the right spot.

I'm currently working on my first novel right now, and I'll be sure to let you all know when it's finished ;)

  7. Hi Laura! I've been following and reading your various blogs on and off for years. Since I don't have a Windows computer at the moment, I get to catch up on reading I've missed. You're one of my favorites, who actually started with TS2 and has continued into TS3 and TS4, so I chose you and have read from the beginning up to here at this point. I'm loving it! And I can't wait until I get all caught up so I can read your TS4 blog before TS5 comes out! LoL
