August 2077, Orion Deppiesse is 44, Violet is 43, Dallas is 13, Delphie and Dakota are 6.

It's been a little while since we last visited Orion Deppiesse and his family. Orion did manage to unload that noisy and hideous pinball machine, and Violet's death threats were never serious. It is August now and the Deppiesse children have just one more month of summer break left before school starts. Dallas will be starting the seventh grade, and the twins will start the first grade.

(btw, I'm using this summer break mod, that has allowed all my Sim-spawn to be off school in these summer months :)

Dallas is not even in high school yet, and already he's thinking about college. He's hoping their parents can get them into Lake County Academy this year. Dallas is a smart kid. Check out that concentration, man! His brain is on fire!

But as fiercely serious as he is, it's not to say he doesn't still check to see if his muscles have gotten any bigger... because he does!

Dallas is tasked with taking care of his little sisters while his parents work this summer. He's a little weary of his sisters, as unsuspecting as they might seem.

Twins are just scary to begin with, and then he often finds them huddled together plotting his ultimate demise!

A girl named Sophie is just walking by and Dakota stops her. She thinks it would be funny if she went and flirted with her brother. Dakota is the little prankster of the bunch. "Sure," Sophie says, "Okay."

Muscles or not, and even with his new perfectly reconstructed nose, and even if he thinks she is in fact very pretty, Dallas just isn't very suave with the ladies yet. But that's okay; they can't all be.

He gets out his logic ball. Maybe that'll impress her! Or at least keep her from trying to talk to him again...

Delphie is in love with her remote-controlled car. Both of the girls are naturally talented in all things mechanical. Maybe one day they'll build blood-thirsty robot hoards to take over the planet!... But more probably, nice robots, that do things like housework and stuff.

The headmaster is coming over to interview the family for Lake County Academy tonight. He's taken a liking to Violet and he talks to her all night. She wonders if they're getting it for their brilliant children or her pretty eyes???...

Well, they're in, anyway. That is the point. Dallas, of course, is thrilled!

Then Violet is thinking, crap, three kids in private school!

Good thing they both just got promotions! Violet is writing for an advice column now, and nearly finished with her second novel. Orion is working as a guild leader in the professional gaming industry - and he calls that work???

10:30 at night, in pajamas, and there's Delphie with that car again! What are we going to do with that girl???

And Dallas is still finding it easier to talk to his ants than to girls... but there will be time for girls later.

And with all the kids in bed, Orion and Violet steal a moment in the bathroom. Awww, married almost 15 years and they're still shy with each other :)

Both of the girls are actually really nice - but man they were scaring me with their plotting against their brother, and Delphie's cackling while playing with that car! I don't know if it's just the age, or if twins are just plain scary, lol :)
