LCU, everything she touches

LCU, spring semester, 2078

Jason called Bella to say he was coming over. He was dropping off some stuff, making it official that things were over between them. Not only had she flat out rejected his proposal last spring, but she never even called him back. He was so sure things were over, in fact, that he came from the gym and was still wearing his workout gear.

Photobucket
But I guess they weren't quite finished after all? Because there were no declarations of over-ness, and he didn't actually drop off anything.

It should only figure that Amelia would meet Jason through Bella. As Amelia was stopping in to pick up vacation pictures, and Jason was going out, and while the heavens happened to be magically aligned, she saw him and it was like lightning bolts through her whole body! And she never felt that before, even with Alon.

Photobucket
They stopped to chat briefly, and he hung on every word. Amelia says, "Shhh, did you know Bella wet the bed until she was five?" Which he found hilarious.

It's a shame Bella has to get her claws in all the cute guys in town. She's just stringing him along, and Jason's such a nice guy Bella is bound to eat him alive! Bella eats all the nice guys alive! But anyway, Amelia is rebounding and messed up, and Jason is surely messed up because anything Bella touches turns into a disaster. Ah well, maybe in another place and time...

Jeremiah asked Bella to come over, and look who tagged along! Her man-whore boyfriend! (This is just Jeremiah being spiteful though, Cameron actually hasn't been interested in anyone else since he started seeing Bella.)

Photobucket
Bella says, "Are you mad at me? You can't be mad at me!"

He says, "You brought him here! Seriously? You're just so clueless sometimes, so unbelievably insensitive!"

It was Jeremiah's idea last semester that maybe he and Bella should just try to be friends, that he should try to date some other girls. But he isn't sure he can be just friends with Bella. He's trying.

Photobucket
She talks to him about engagement - Mariah was talking about engagement over spring break, and Bella wonders if she could ever be engaged to someone - or married for that matter. He says, "Engagement? You? I doubt it!"

***

Photobucket
Things are going great with Mariah and James. They're positively in love! He's even dropping hypothetical questions about "their future," which after only six months of dating is really pretty crazy, but he hasn't actually popped any questions yet.

And while they're on the topic of futures, Mariah doesn't think she's ever asked him what he wants to do with his life.

Photobucket
Crime? "You want to do what???" She can't even believe it! Who aspires to be a criminal? Her father certainly isn't going to approve of that!

Photobucket
And then she tells him she wants to be a professional party guest. He says, "What? That's not even a job! What are you talking about?" Maybe they have more differences than she thought.

Photobucket
Luke is having a rough time in the dating market. His best prospect at the moment is this dude, who while mildly cute, looks like he just rolled out of bed to play a video game. Is this it? Really? Unfortunately, Cameron seems to be trading in his free-loving players card for the straight side, with Bella Bradshaw. Luke still remembers the first time he went to Red's with his sister and danced with Cameron.

***

Amelia has a party, and she is reminded again how this house is insanely small for having parties. She isn't sure yet where she'll move at the end of the year, but it has to be party-friendly.

Photobucket
Maxwell and Cameron are apparently new best friends. (Though we suspect that's because Cameron thinks Maxwell is cute, but Maxwell doesn't play for that team.) Charlotte is on civil terms with Mark again, though she came to the party with a different guy. Note here we have three of Bella's boyfriends in the same room together, which has to be a disaster waiting to happen.

Bella and Cameron sneak upstairs and she has a surprise for him. It's a box of hair dye!

Photobucket
"Are you serious?" he says. "What, like permenantly?" Yes, she is serious. He thinks she's weird, but he does it anyway. If she likes it, he doesn't care. And she does like it. She likes it a lot!

Photobucket
Later in the night, Bella finds Jeremiah and says, "Are you still mad at me?"

Look at him sulk!

Photobucket
Jeremiah figures, if she's gonna mess around with his head like this, he might as well get something out of it. Because you know it isn't hard to get something out of Bella.

This semester, Jeremiah reapplies and is accepted back into the Military work/tuition program, and maybe will afford to finish out his degree after all. Amelia is supposed to be looking at internships too, but all she can find is in Oceanography, and eeew! She doesn't want to smell like fish.

Photobucket
So she teaches one of their roommates, Micah how to hula dance instead.

Photobucket
Amelia isn't dating anyone at the moment, and neither is Micah, and while neither of them really see any kind of future with each other, they do have some fun messing around together.

***

Photobucket
It was bound to happen sooner or later. It seems Jeremiah doesn't like sharing his playthings. He's been so edgy about the whole situation all semester. It looks like Jeremiah is the tougher of the two - though, it doesn't really surprise us. Cameron is a bit of a prissy boy.

Photobucket
Bella says, "Man up, Cameron!" She doesn't care for the crying.

Photobucket
And then she says to Jeremiah, "What is the matter with you?"

Jeremiah has no right to be jealous or mad at Cameron. Bella may not be a saint or anything, but she's not breaking any promises. She never promised anybody anything!

Photobucket
She didn't know Cameron was such a crybaby, but it looks like he needs some comforting, and she feels bad for him. It's not his fault that Jeremiah has a short fuse. And Jeremiah should have known, if forced to make a choice, then she's already made it.

***

Chandler helps Mariah with a logic class. It's looking like Chandler is about to be dissed for Keri's junior prom at the end of the month. She's already mentioned asking another guy. Chandler isn't really bothered by it - it's not like they really kept in touch much after he moved to college.

Photobucket
Chandler mentions something about Bella being pretty. "Bella??? You're kidding, right?" Mariah says, and she laughs. It must be a joke because she knows Chandler is smarter than to get involved with Bella! "Pretty doesn't have anything to do with it. She's a walking disaster!"

Photobucket
"Man, you don't have to laugh about it," he says.

notes: Bella, Bella, Bella! She has one more year of college left now, and I can't wait for her to graduate, lol! Entertaining as she is sometimes, she's just getting to be too much. Everything she touches turns into trouble!

  1. Bella is going to have all the guys getting visits from the Sim shrink with all of these head games she keeps playing! Haha, I love that Amelia was telling Jason all of Bella's embarrassing secrets. ;) Amelia and Jason would be sweet together...maybe there's hope for one day after they get over their heartaches!

  2. You have so many sims that sometimes it is hard to keep them all straight.

Jeremiah should not have dumped Bella if he has a problem seeing her date other sims. Besides you would think that he understands that she is a player. And a good one at that.

  3. shana, I think Amelia and Jason would be cute together too... I'm hoping :)

monique, don't forget there's the resident database and student enrollment, if you ever get confused. And I try to link to related updates when they come up. Maybe try following just a couple of your favorite households until you get used to it?

And for Jeremiah - he's been in love with her since high school, and I guess he's just been holding out hope for her, because you know, people do silly things when they're in love. But he didn't dump her last semester, he's just trying to quit her, and not doing a very good job of that. Bella's never been committed to anyone, but that doesn't keep them from wishing she was.

I can't remember how the game works default, but I have all kinds of mods to make jealousy more realistic, meaning that there isn't much sense to be made of it ;) Some sims are the jealous type, and others aren't.

  4. Hooray for Amelia! She's feels more for Jason than she ever did for Alon. Go girl, grab that man! I wonder when he graduates...

Loved it when Jeremiah kicked a***. I must say Cameron looks really good with black hair. Well, he's just so handsome... but prissy? LOL

Aha, Maxwell and Cameron are buddies. Now why doesn't that surprise me at all? :)

  5. Moondaisy, Jason is a few years older than them, so he'd already graduated by the time this story began.

I like Cameron better with black hair too! It suits him!

  6. I love these episodes, especially the Uni sequences. What I don't understand though, is why is Bella behaving so much like a Romance Sim when she is, in fact, a Fortune Sim? Is Romance her secondary aspiration? (P.S. It is sooo cool to finally be able to put the faces with the names. LoL)

    1. Bingo! Yup, she's a romance secondary. In my experience, romance as a secondary often overpowers their primary. At least for a little while.
