But did you mean "LUF"? Because that is in the dictionary - an abbreviation, for "luteinized unruptured follicle". Kind of uncouth and ballsy though, asking about the state of a woman's ovaries? I can assure you that my ovaries (or anyone else's ovaries, for that matter) are certainly none of your business!
But no, I'm going to assume you meant "life" - you know, 'cause I'm all intuitive like that. And no need to worry, because my life is just fine.
I always find it funny though - here you are, deeply concerned about the state of my life - and actually, as you posted that today, I was at the county fair with my family, you know, having a life?
We had a great time! My son is really getting old enough for fair rides now and it's a blast! It was kind of warm, but not too bad. It rained a little, but we got over it. I had a really awesome funnel cake! Should someone as "fat" as me really be having funnel cakes? Hmmm... well I do quite a bit of hiking, so I think I can spare the calories just this once. Really, it's super hilly around here!
But fleshy, yes, I have to say I am. I like to call it curvy, or stacked. It's mostly muscle though - all those hills and my ass is tight as hell! And then there's the boobs. Boobs are all fat, after all, and I've got quite an impressive rack! Maybe that's what you meant?
But fatsy? Really? What are you, eight?
I'm a long-time lurker, but I just had to say: I love you. This just made my day! (Of course, what does that say about MY life?)
ReplyDeleteI do not understand the mentality of people who leave these kinds of comments. They're leaving nasty, misspelt messages on blogs they apparently don't even like, when they could be looking at something they do like and who's the one that needs to get a life?
ReplyDeleteFunnel cake was one of the things I wanted to try when I was in the States but I don't think we ever came across it. Now I'm kind of hungry.
What was the point of that commentary? Although searching for the definition of "lyf"? Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog but I love what you've done with it and I look forward to reading your stories. I'm a sims 3 girl but there are a few sims 2 story blogs I follow.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand people who leave comments like this either. You see them a lot. It's quite pathetic really.
Your response is too funny though. Glad you had fun at the Fair and enjoyed your funnel cake. lol :)
What better life can a mommy have, enjoying a fair with her son ! Wish I had more time with my daughter, since I have a fulltime job.
ReplyDeleteNext week we're going to a fair too :-). Think she's too young for the merry-go-round, she's only 6 months. But we'll have fun anyway.
It amazes me the sadness and malice of people like this. I mean 'lyf', seriously?
ReplyDeleteAt least confront a dictionary if you're unsure of something, sad little hater.
Lol, great response, though! ;)
Well, one thing for sure, whoever wrote this, probably has no lyf at all for being busy writing such a comment :D
ReplyDelete*spits out drink* ROFL That was too funny. OMG! I really hate ignorant people. And if you don't like a blog why waste your time posting to one? I get it, he really does love your blog. But her figures the only way he can get a post directed to him is to call you a non-life having fat person. LOOOOOL
ReplyDeleteRenegade, awww, thanks! You gotta have fun with these kind of things, right? :)
ReplyDeleteCarla, mmmm, funnel cakes! They're mostly a festival/fair kind of food, as far as I've ever seen. Was it summertime when you were here? Also they have them in theme parks too sometimes.
Rome, the point of my commentary? Ummm, to bite back, I guess. I've seen wonderful people quit blogging entirely over stupid anonymous haters like this, and I won't stand for it.
Jennifer, hi! And welcome! Glad to have you reading! I should have some real stories for you to read again very soon - we're kind of in-between seasons at the moment ;)
Simphaesis, awww, 6 months is such a good age! They're so portable at that age, lol! I remember just strapping mine to my chest in the carrier and we were good to go, wherever we wanted! And that's also when they really start sleeping good too! :)
Have fun at the fair! I bet she'll love all the bright colors!
Shake, thanks! I know, right? How much harder is it really to type a 4-letter word than a 3-letter word? Really? lol!
M.J., ditto that, exactly!
Riverdale, at least we got a laugh out of it, huh? ;)
Wow . . . that is amazing. I cannot believe the audacity of some people.
ReplyDeleteHehehehe . . . love funnel cakes. I still believe they are to blame for me being a fatsy. But I am a happy one. Looked forward to the fair every year just for those. $5.00 for the ticket $5.00 for the cake. $10.00 worth of heaven.
One year my mom bought me a funnel cake maker for Christmas . . . well the rest goes without saying. Thank you for sharing this. Really made my day!
Yeah, I was in the US in July/August last year. I wonder if there was any funnel cake at Universal Studios and I didn't notice it. Too busy making a pig of myself with churros!
ReplyDeleteOk, so now I had to find out what funnel cake is... lol... I think if/when I get a stupid comment like that on my blog, I'd probably just ignore it... but I love your response! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, like, whoever wrote that SO needs a lyf! I love your responses for these bozos. It never ceases to amaze me why someone would take the time to comment on some blog they don't like to read. Or why someone wouldn't know how to spell "life".
ReplyDeleteI had to google funnel cake to find out what it is first but ooh, I love it :D.
It's called tippaleipä in Finnish and we usually make those on May Day.
Some people just need to grow up and find something to do. I love your response though.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Stuffy, oh wow, a funnel cake maker?! Is it as good as at the fair? I think that'd be way too tempting to have around the house, lol!
ReplyDeleteCarla, mmmm, churros! :)
Blackcat, yeah, I tried the ignoring thing once - didn't work out, lol!
Sari, I know, life, such a simple 4-letter word to type. Lyf is somehow harder - you have to reach over for that damned "y" key. Why not just type the right word, you know?
Speechless, agreed, that must be what it is. Way too much time on their hands.
