LCU, spring semester, 2079
At the start of spring semester, the most pressing matter for Bella and Mariah is to win a dance competition. James was there to root for Mariah.
(Joel and Aurora Harris were there, on their first date night since baby Zachary was born, watching at first, but then they got bored and decide to flirt with each other instead.)
And the winner is... the girl with the really weird blush on her cheeks!
Bella calls rematch! She doesn't have anything better to do while Cameron is working late tonight.
And the winner is... Joel? Hey, we didn't know Joel could dance. He barely even moved. Bella didn't even see him dancing at all he was so still!
Rematch! But first - Oooh, look at him stretching out those quads! Let's all take a moment to appreciate his hotness! Good catch, Aurora, good catch!
James gets in on the third round, and oooh, blush girl looks worried!
And Bella wins!!! Hell yeah! Bella danced her butt off for that one! And James looks severely disappointed, lol. Blush girl just can't even stick around for her shame.
(Bonus picture, just because Aurora and Joel looked so cute out on their date.)

Mariah is still baffled by her logic classes, and really, she only asked Jim to play with her so she could check him out - she wants to see if he's good enough for her dear friend Luke. Jim is living in Academy Hall this semester. He says he's very family oriented, and he seems nice enough, despite the crazy tattoos he wears. "You want to know a secret," he says. "They're just henna. They wash off." Jim wants to go into education after college.
Chandler isn't dating anyone right now, and he wants to see if Keri is interested in striking up the old benefits part of their friendship. She absolutely isn't.
And Luke, apparently, can't cook. Chandler can't cook either, and later that night, the fire department makes a second visit.
Since this is Jeremiah's last semester at college, he decides to spend the rest of his money on and exercise bike, to get in shape, since he's going to be in the military and all. He's quite proud of himself actually. He remembers a time when he didn't think he would even finish his degree.
Of course, he's not really thinking about how he might have saved that money to put a down-payment on his own house, or that if he wants to rent an apartment, he would have access to a community gym and that he probably wouldn't have room for an exercise bike anyway... well, some of us just aren't the thinking type.
Justin is the thinking type - not exactly in a brilliant way, but he's quite the hard worker, which is surprising for how silly he is. He is the only student around who doesn't mind whipping out his homework when he's bored. He's really excited for Keri to come to college in the fall. Both he and Stephanie plan to stay in Frosh Hall one more year while Keri does her freshman time.
Stephanie takes some time to practice the few things her brother showed her on his guitar.
Jeremiah and Stephanie have been dating about four months now, and Stephanie finally gives the all clear to move their relationship to the next level. Jeremiah has been very attentive with her for the few short months they've known each other. He keeps her smothered and pampered and she hardly has a spare moment to feel any angst about her two best friends falling head-over-heels in love with each other.
So as the spring semester draws to an end, the final semester of college for both Bella and Jeremiah, we feel a party is in order!
To commemorate the end of Bella Bradshaw's four years at LCU, she throws the biggest, loudest, most elaborate, and most balloon-filled party Academy Hall has ever seen! Everybody is invited - friends, enemies, boyfriends, ex-boyfriends... if nothing else, it should at least be interesting!
New relationship, blocking the doorway. Okay, seriously, people are trying to get in!
He's cute, he's almost a three-bolter, and Charlotte doesn't like him??? Don't take it personally, dude, Charlotte doesn't like anybody. She desperately wants to get married, but man! She's going to end up a spinster at this rate! Did you ever see a family Sim so picky in your life??? Maybe she should try being a lesbian, because she obviously doesn't like men very much!
Bella's bedroom is well occupied throughout the night. Jeremiah says, "Hey do you wanna make out?" After he's already got Stephanie down to her underwear.
We think it's a pretty sure bet at this point, Jeremiah.
And wow, Jeremiah with Stephanie in Bella's bedroom. Is that like revenge, or something?
Bella knows Marisa from her dance company, and Marisa uses the occasion as an excuse to make it into town for the party. And since Charlotte isn't interested in any of the men here, she and Marisa spend the evening catching up. Marisa hasn't even been gone a year yet, but to BFFs it feels like forever!
And where did Cameron go??? Bella is kind of angry actually. One of her ex-boyfriends is over there with Amelia, and Bella doesn't even know what's going on in her bedroom upstairs with her other ex-boyfriend, and her actual boyfriend is nowhere to be found??? Man, that blows! Did somebody order the keg, or what?
Now we've got the party started!
Try not to party too hard there, guys! ;)
Chandler doesn't seem to know how to hit on single girls. Amelia says, "What the hell, dude, my boyfriend is right behind you!"
Crush, times two!
Keri gets her first sneak preview of college life. She'll be starting her freshman year in the fall.
Amelia and Jason, just hanging out on the couch.
And ugh, some things just make you feel queasy when you've had as much to drink as Bella has, and can't find your boyfriend at your own graduation party!
And then there he is, from out of nowhere! "Where the hell have you been? Hiding in a closet? This is my graduation party, and I am SO not having a magical time!!!"
He says, "Chill out, Babe." Cameron isn't actually sure where he was. He doesn't even know what dimension he was in, or what drugs he was on, but it must have been some pretty powerful stuff.
Bella says, "This party blows! I need a hug! Somebody hug me! Not Cameron!" And well, Charlotte's not feeling too good either and just finished puking in the bathroom, so she'll do.
We kind of lost Mariah during the party, but there she is hanging out with Keri in the background. She stayed sober most of the night, on clean up duty mostly. James drank too much, got sick and went home early. What a dud!
Bella can't really walk very straight by the end of the night, so Cameron carries her to bed. We still haven't figured out where exactly he went. Bella doesn't really care anymore.
Needless to say, the next day, Bella has quite the headache! Oh man, what a night!
So here we end the semester, with Bella running to her very last final exam, in underwear, thinking about Cameron... go figure.

Upon moving into their new apartments, Jeremiah needs to borrow Bella's computer, which is technically Cameron's computer, to order some new clothes. Bella wants to know, "Are you two going to be able to get along? Maybe it's not such a good idea that you live here?"
No problem with Cameron. He's only interested in being dense and pretty. He has no hatred for anybody!
Jeremiah, on the other hand, didn't want to live here. It was the only affordable apartment left in Lake City. And he's not sure it's a good idea actually, but he doesn't seem to have any other choice. But he's going to give it a try, and says, "I don't know what you're talking about!" Jeremiah still keeps feeling the deep and tempting desire to shove Cameron across the room. Holding a grudge, maybe?

notes: LOL, I seriously have no idea where Cameron went during that party. He was really gone, not even on the list of selectable Sims on the lot, and then just suddenly reappeared near the end of the night. Just in time too, because Bella was seriously contemplating jumping into bed with Chandler... poor Chandler, he didn't have the sense to hit on the one girl who might have actually given it up! LOL!
And so ends something of an era! Bella Bradshaw goes out into the grown-up world, and LCU will never be quite the same without her. In fact, I can hardly remember what LCU was like without her... normal? :)
great update! I wonder what LCU will be like without the famous Bella, but then again, she does have all of Lake City to terrorize now :)
ReplyDeleteWow, LCU w/o Bella?! What's the world coming to? Heehee, she definitely made LCU interesting and very fun! But I'm sure she'll make the real world just as fun!
ReplyDeleteapple and mandie, thanks! Yup, Bella Bradshaw set loose on Lake City! She's already starting to make a mess of her apartment building :)
