Nathan Lind and Phoenix McCullough are quick to jump in line. Nathan says, "I was hoping there might be beer. We got a babysitter for this!"
Adrian Jackson reading a science magazine? Get in the spirit Adrian! That's not it!
Aurora has some harsh words for Nathan... must be the beer talking.
Heather just wanted to make friends with her neighbors, but Allegra does NOT like Heather, and it's not the beer talking, since they're both knocked up. And for such a nice girl too. Must be the early pregnancy nerves giving her a short fuse. Ah well...
Phoenix gets a little touchy-feely with Adrian, and Brooke is pissed! He says, "What? I was only joking! It was a dare! Nathan put me up to it!" And with that smug look on Nathan's face, we just might be inclined to believe it. As far as we know, Phoenix doesn't like boys like that.
Jeremy and Alice Nova have way too much to drink and make fools of themselves. But hey, that's what New Year's Eve is all about!
And maybe the last thing these people need is more to drink, but hey, what's ringing in the new year without a little champagne? Hope that's sparkling grape juice in Heather's glass!
Happy New Year 2079!

notes: Oops, I guess I didn't realize that Adam and Phoenix were both blond and wearing the same outfit, lol! I'll have to take care of that.
Man, that beer keg is dangerous! LOL!
LOL! That keg is funny, great update-as always!
ReplyDeleteIt is fun! Gotta keep your eyes open with it though, lol. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved that New Years Eve party! All that drama...awesome way to end the old year and ring in the new one!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I think I'm going to try out your calendar system. I usually play my prosperity families for 7 days at a time...but with my new baby at home, I just don't have enough time to play for that long. 2 days seems like the perfect amount of time that I'm able to play in between feedings and diaper changes! That and I also love the year system that allows for birthdays and anniversaries. I will give you credit for the system of course! It is both refreshing and inspiring for me and I hope you don't mind if I give it a shot?
Absolutely try it! That's exactly why I started playing 2 sim-days after my son was born. It's the perfect amount of playtime to fit in the space of a nap, and you get your dishes and laundry loaded while your game starts up ;)
ReplyDeleteLet me know if you have any questions about setting up your years. How many households are you playing?
Hope you and the baby are doing well :)
Yay, thanks Laura! I agree, I think it will be the perfect amount of time to play. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems like it will be exactly what I need!
ReplyDeleteSo far, I think I have only 13 families and a bunch of Uni kids of course. I was thinking I would do your 24 month system, but skip a few months. Pretty much I figure I'd have 2 families update each season. So one family in October and one in November, one in December and one in February...etc. Then when I get more families I'll just add more months. Make sense? If there's an easier way to do it, please tell me! Heehee. And I figure I'll just start in the year 2008, since that's where we are at the moment! Lol.
I've had to move all my families out of their houses and bulldoze the lots due to some bug with AL that would crash my game everytime I tried to enter any household. So I've been working on rebuilding some houses in the mean time. So far, I've only got one done due to my new baby boy! Lol, babies are a lot of work.
Mandie, that sounds like a great plan! And that's just what I did with my years too, when I started this 'hood in 2006 :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHilarious party.
That picture of Jeremy and Jasmine had me really cracking up.
I'm leaving of here and will be back for MOAR soon! :)
Moondaisy, thanks! I love doing the New Year's parties! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading!
