  1. This is so in depth. I've been working on something similar for awhile but its taking much longer than I imagined

  3. This is inspiring for my fledgling neighborhood. The whole idea of Sims not just being able to openly keep a murderous cowplant out in the open is revolutionary to my way of Simming...yet at the same time I've never killed any sims that way, too uncomfortable with it as a sanctioned activity. This changes things.

  4. Shannon, yup, I would be uncomfortable murdering a Sim with a cowplant too, but I think I probably have a couple Sims in my neighborhood who might be heartless enough to do it ;)

  5. Laura, what gadget did you use to post the Lakeside Heights link list? And also, which one for the Essential Hack closet?

  10. @ Laura: How do some of these things work ? Like the police department, do the sims actualy have to get cought keeping a cow-plant or money-trees ? And is the lawyer an actual playable sim ? Doe he live from his income from weddings etc. or does that sim has a lawyer-job from the paper too ?

So actualy, how do you play these events and sims ?

  11. Simphaesis, sorry for the late reply, real life happens...

These are all actual playable Sims, who all have families and live in the neighborhoods. For the police department, I just wing it. If one of my cop Sims happen to be present when something illegal is going on, they can enforce the law.

It's just for added realism. And I can't remember if anyone has ever been actually caught for anything since I started this blog - my criminal Sims tend to keep their distance from my law enforcement Sims.

My lawyers do work in the actual Maxis law career, and any money they earn from being hired for a divorce or whatever is extra for them.

    Hope that helps!
