But I do have a surprise mini-thing for you later tonight, from Amelia.
If you've been following the babble thread, you already know I've been working on Amelia's bedroom this week. But if not, the pictures are here, and here. The paintings in her room are both by Shoukeir, and I've been downloading like crazy from that site lately. Some super awesome stuff in there!
More cool finds: most of these were found by way of Carla's blog, so many of you have probably already seen this stuff ;)
Here's Hazel, modeling some new tongues.
The parts posing box. And especially, one of Carla's stories had me wondering what all you could do with the sitting poses and toddlers.

I really wanted to see if any of the other toddler interactions looked okay while sitting, and in most of them, her arms went all funky. And their heads cut through, but I think that might have more to do with her height modification than the actual pose itself. So the snuggle works, for certain moments and from certain angles. The above interactions are the plain old "hold" and the tickle.
Toss in the air does not work at all. She popped up out of sitting to carry it out, and then sat back down.
But overall, I've been using this box all week! It's very useful! :)
End babble. Real story piece coming later, I hope.
I adore the picspam of the toddlers, and also the iPhone Hazel's using! Too cool.
ReplyDeleteAw, the twins are so adorable! And I see that Leila got a makeover! Also, Amelia's bedroom looks amazing! It's a shame that there probably won't be too much action in it any time soon, though, judging by her most recent post.
ReplyDeleteThese are darling photos!
ReplyDeleteHave to put off downloading anything since it took me about a month to stop my game from crashing and I lost about 6000 files in the process. But it is wonderful to see the new and pretty stuff other people have found a way to use!
That's very cute. I never thought to use that pose box for that purpose. Leila and toddler spam is always welcome.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed your new banner. I like it alot.
Lindsey, thanks! The iPhone has to be from MTS, I'm pretty sure!
ReplyDeleteKatherine, yes, it took me forever to find an outfit suitable for Leila! She's a very hard girl to dress - needs to be comfortable, yet still conservatively sexy. And no heels. But I love this one on her. I'm pretty sure it's from Liana.
Beth, thanks! Oh, I know how hard it is to go crazy on some of these sites! Don't go to the Shoukeir one, lol! I can't help but download everything in there!
Monique, thank you! And glad the spam was appreciated! :)
Oh, Liana's stuff is so pretty! I noticed that's also where you got Hazel's and Natalia's outfits from.
ReplyDeleteCute! I love Felicity, just quietly reading while her brothers clamour for Mama's attention!
ReplyDeleteYou know what might work with the toddler interactions? I was just thinking of how I have some of my girls laying down while cuddling their babies with my hospital births. With that, I always have to have them start the interaction, pause, put them on the OMSPs and then the interaction will be normal, with no wonky arms or anything.
So I wonder if it would work if you had Leila start the interaction, then posed her legs and then let her finish the cuddle (or the toss in air, even - worth a try). Disregard if you've already tried this and it failed!
Katherine, I have to say, I do a lot of shopping at Liana's! Wish I could wear most of it in real life too, lol!
ReplyDeleteCarla, hmmm, I think the pose would just queue up until the interaction is finished. I think I did try that - BUT what I didn't try was to put her on an OMSP, raise it to standing level, let the interaction happen at standing level (with her legs already posed) and maybe then the arms won't go wonky? Might be worth a shot?
Man, we're getting desperate here, lol!
Damn, I tried my suggestion and it worked the same way you thought it would - they'd finish the interaction and THEN the legs would pose. So um...no one bother trying that!
ReplyDeleteThe OMSP thing might be worth a try though. Hmmm.
