But really, I had a neat idea while peeking through some old pictures, so I thought I'd throw something together. I've got another prequel I'll post in a couple days, and then we'll start round 2082 on Sunday or Monday, so I suppose I'm kind of done with my break anyway.
These are baby pictures from some of the Sims that you guys never got to see as babies. I know Sim-babies look mostly alike, but it's fun to see some of their parents when they were young, and I have some toddler pics in here too :)
Charlotte (Centowski) Gallagher. Look at the noses on Audrey and Orlando, lol! It's not a wonder poor Luke got the huge beak he has!
Bella Bradshaw, bathing beauty from birth. I apparently didn't always know about the censor hack.
Amelia Bradshaw at her first birthday party, pictured with grandpa Charlie Bradshaw, one of my neighborhood founders. Amelia always had huge birthday parties, being both a Deppiesse and a Bradshaw!
Amelia as a toddler. I always thought Claire was SO pretty in her youth. She's pretty still now though too.
Luke Centowski supports the theory that people are born gay, because he certainly knew it from his first birthday ;)
Mariah (Riley) Buchanan.
Mariah again, but I just wanted to show you just how LONG Bryson has been wearing that outfit, lol! I need to get the man some new clothes! I know he can afford some! :)
Also pictured is her grandmother Mallory, who married another one of my neighborhood founders, David Riley. It looks like both of the Riley girls get their nose from grandma Mallory - I've been wondering where that came from.
This is Keri, and you can see how enthusiastic Bryson was about his second daughter's birth ;)
Keri (age 2) and Mariah (age 4).
Stephanie (Nova) Day, pictured with her mother, Alice. Also pictured from the left, Castor Nova, Jeremy Nova, Jackson Phoenix, and Riley (Nova) Hathe.
Beau and Tyler Jackson (beats me which is which), with their parents Adrian and Aurora. These two are definitely the most identical of twins I've had in my game, and I could never tell them apart (besides changing their hairstyles) until they were teens. Now that they're YAs, they look almost identical again, lol. Weird.
Dallas Deppiesse, proof positive, he's 25% alien! ;)
Two year old Summer Phoenix. Hayden was about eighteen here.
Fiona McCullough, who apparently came out of the womb with complaints! LOL! :)
Melissa Fortney, with her parents Alana and Sheldon. And looking back through pictures, I can verify that Melissa is growing up to look exactly like her mother, which is good, because her mother was always very pretty. Let's just hope she doesn't grow up to
act like her mother ;)
Lucy Harris, with her parents Toby and April, on her first birthday.
Newborn Sarah Harris, and two year-old Lucy, stealing the show already with a big cheesy smile.
Liza Hathe, with her parents Riley and Chad who were about nineteen here. Apparently, Chad has always been a nut, and Riley has always been apathetic.
Natalia Deppiesse, with her parents Cabe and Ashlee, and it looks like Cabe is also long overdue for a wardrobe change, lol!
Angelo Shaw, with his parents Valerie and Maxwell.
Fiona McCullough, a very pretty little toddler.
Robbie McCullough.
Tyler, on the left, and Beau on the right, thinking about cars already.
And Dakota and Delphie Deppiesse as toddlers, which brings us to about the point where the blog picks up.
I guess I didn't routinely take baby pictures before Charlotte, because I couldn't find many good ones. And I am missing Hazel Monif, Ryanne Phoenix, and Sam Harris from here. After Sam, the blog picks up with Devon Shaw being born.
But anyway, I hope you enjoyed my Lakeside Heights baby photo album! And coming soon... prequel story #3: young loves ;)
what a great idea this was! I really enjoyed it and your captions... too funny!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture where Adrien and Aurora are holding both babies... I like her hair like that.
and Fiona, my other favorite was hysterical!
I'm excited for "young loves."
Awww, it was nice to see the sims are little ones! I can't believe it. They are all grown now, LOL.
ReplyDeleteCensor hack, wow, I still don't use it. Naked sims freak me out, especially children/etc. Blegh.
Looking forward to what you have in store next.
Welcome back from your break.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only amused by Lucy's dad wearing the Charlie Brown shirt?
bbop, thanks! Aurora did look really pretty with that hairstyle, but she kind of outgrew it. I'll include some pictures of them in the young loves post ;)
ReplyDeleteMao, lol, motherhood will get you over that really quick! ;)
I can't deal with that censor though, it gets in the way of all my pictures, and you know how my Sims like to get nekkid!
petalbrook, thanks! LOL, maybe he's a fan? :)
*claps hands*
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking a break from your break! Continue to enjoy it and reading the wonderful books!
I can't wait to see what's in store based on the header image-yummy!
What a great idea! I love it! And I enjoyed seeing them when they were little. Great trek down memory lane. I love looking at baby pics that I've taken. It's nice to look back to when they were small. It's alway more fun once they've started on their families as well.
ReplyDeleteVery cool post, Laura! I loved seeing all those old baby pictures, and the parents were all so young too! LOL, Luke in his pink tux. That one cracked me up, and I was thinking the gay comment before I even read what you wrote! Too funny and totally appropriate. Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteApple, yummy indeed! That one is going to be a lot of fun. And I figure after having had a somber spring and summer, we're going to try to lighten things up a little this fall ;)
ReplyDeleteRiverdale, thanks! I've been having way too much fun looking back through these pictures! :)
Mandie, lol, I couldn't resist with Luke! Oh, and I've been reading about your Patty, but I can't comment - you should allow OpenID on your blog ;)
Aw, I loved that! Luke and his pink tux is just too perfect but I think my favourite picture was of Keri and Mariah as little girls - very sweet.
ReplyDeleteOh my favorite was definitely Hayden and Summer. That one almost made me cry. It can't be bad that I'm as attached to your sims as I am to my own.
ReplyDeleteThat's true for me too, Lunar Fox, I'm as attached to Laura's sims as mine. I knew who all these sims were and what was going on with them!
ReplyDeleteLaura, the dojo (spelling?) looks awesome and I love all the girls swooning.
Sullivan, thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteLunar, lol, don't cry, this is a happy one ;)
Francesca, thanks! You'll see more of it very soon!
That was pretty fun, such an awesome look back on everyone
