Beau likes to mess around, in general, with anything that can be messed around with, helicopters, games, girls... He still gets good grades, and wants to go to college for a business degree. He already knows very precisely what he wants to do with his life. He wants to work with his dad and take over the arcade some day.
Tyler isn't quite so future-minded yet, but just likes to work out. That's all really, work out, call Summer, call Stephanie. He does think he'll go to college with his brother, but just because there are girls there. Thankfully, both of the boys seem to have outgrown the noogie-approach to flirting that they tried out in their younger teen years.
The arcade is doing well, and charging $72 an hour now. It's expensive, but these rich kids can afford it.
Dallas comes in with his friend Vicky one afternoon. He's got a little crush on her, and why wouldn't he? She's adorable! She says to him, "I don't know, can you figure this thing out?"
Go on, Dallas, show her how it's done! Dallas is still a little awkward with pretty girls, but he's slowly learning his own approach in relating to them.
They twins are excited to get their drivers' licenses in the fall, but for now, they have to make due with riding the bus and begging for rides. Lucky for them, their dad's arcade is just around the corner, so they walk.
It's probably not in Adrian's best interest to let two fifteen-year-old boys run his arcade, but he trusts Beau's strong business instinct, so they do sometimes. He figures, it's an arcade, what could go wrong?
Well, for one, they could stand to not pick on the customers.
Hey, look, Lucy stopped by.
Well, the boys must be doing something right, because the arcade is up to rank 5 in their care. But then, how hard is it really to run an arcade?
And Lucy teasing Tyler about making out? What does Lucy know about making out?
January brings Lakeside Heights' first big snowfall.
And Adrian is promoted to professional party guest, which is just about all he ever wanted out of life. There's the kids, a beautiful woman to share his life with, a nice house in Lakeside Heights, and a profitable business that are all great... but professional party guest! What more can you ask for than that?
Lucy has been hanging out with the twins quite a bit lately. The three of them are becoming quite good friends.
But Lucy is just a sixth-grader, and not really on their radar yet. And go figure, Beau is more interested in the kind of girls who walk around half naked in the snow.
I think Lucy is really starting to get curious about this romance stuff. It's going on everywhere! She thinks she'll just observe for now though.
Adrian has his new best friend, Adam, over, and his his wife Heather. Money is the topic of conversation over dinner, and the men are both appalled at how freely the ladies discussed their bank balances.
And after dinner, Heather says, "Don't mind me, I'm just going to puke in your toilet."
Beau invites over his favorite girlfriend of the moment, Yvette. She's a cutie, and he's been interested in her for almost two years now, which is a long time for Beau to hold interest in any girl.
Better get your girlfriend inside, Beau. She must be cold with her belly button all hanging out like that!
And couples who journal together stay together?
Tyler is wondering if his parents are EVER going to go to bed. Summer is staying over at her grandma's this weekend, and they kind of arranged to sneak out and meet up over at the park tonight.
Then it's 3:00, in the dead of the night, Aurora and the boys are fast asleep, and this must be some kind of trippy dream, right? Adrian found this thing, and he has no idea how he got it, or what he's supposed to do with it...
So in this dream, a big purple man pops out of this thing and says Adrian has wishes. So Adrian asks to become beautiful, you know, so he can get more ladies and all. He and Aurora have this open kind of relationship, but he's too shy sometimes to even talk to any other women.
And then, you know, because dreams don't make any sense and all, the Genie says, "Your attraction score is an error. Cancel, reset, or delete?
And Adrian says, "What?"
Then Adrian wakes up, and says, "Whoa, Baby, I just had the freakiest dream!"

notes: I have no idea how or why Adrian got that lamp, and it really did give him an error, lol!
And I just love the new "torment" interaction that came with Apartment Life, and since the twins are both grouchy, they both get double pluses when they torment each other. So funny!
I'm feeling very protective over my sweet innocent Lucy, lol. She'd better be careful with those boys. But I just can't seem to keep her away from them. She has two bolts with Tyler, but luckily, they haven't really taken notice of her yet...
I'm still working on the election info and polls should be up this weekend :)
The twins crack me up! They are probably my favorite sims in the whole hood!
ReplyDeleteOh, God, I love the dream. ROFL and the error message. I wonder why that happened? Ca't wait for more.
ReplyDeleteMandie, me too! They're crazy, aren't they? :)
ReplyDeleteRiverdale, I know, that was weird! I don't normally use the supernatural aspects of the game, so I thought I'd try to work it in somehow ;)
I'm figuring Adrian got that error message because he's beautiful enough. :-D What is it with these Sims in the neighborhood? Don't they know Seasons came out, a while ago! (2006 as I recall). Don't they know it's winter; don't they see the snow?! However, in all fairness, I have known real life people who walk around inappropriately dressed in winter as well.
