happy birthday to you...

October 2079, welcome to Lakeside Heights: Julia and Elaina!

Jodie Larson arrives at the Lind household, and there's some time to spare since Allegra's labor is taking longer than expected. So Allegra makes some small talk to pass the time.

"Nice weather for having a baby," Allegra says. "You know, cloudy, you don't want to hurt the baby's eyes..."

Um, Jodie, it's kind of your job not to freak out. That's why we're paying you the big bucks!

It's a girl! They were planning to name the baby Lillian, but then at the last minute decided that Lillian Lind was a bit of a tongue-twister, and went with Julia instead. Julia was born at 9:00 in the morning, and has dark hair and blue eyes, just like her mommy and big sister.

Nathan is worried baby Julia might read his diary, lol!

Nathan and Allegra Lind, and big sister Bianca would like to welcome baby Julia.

LOL, what is it with these men, and their journal-writing at the very most inopportune times?

Photobucket
Mmmm, childbirth is HOT! LOL!

Thankfully, Jodie composes herself better this time around. She's going to have to get used to this.

It's another girl! Elaina "Laney" Thompson is born at 2:00 in the afternoon, and has brown hair and her daddy's eyes.

Adam and Heather Thompson would like to welcome baby Laney.

  2. LOL, Nathan, that's one smart baby if she can read right out of the womb!

  3. Sullivan, thanks! Bianca was in the last Lind update (Dec. 2078, "baby dust, part 1"). She's the one with the funny cheeks :)

Shana, I know, that just cracked me up! LOL!

  4. LOL! Journaling at a time like that. "Oh my goodness, we have a baby! I just HAVE to journal this!"

  5. In Nathan's defense, I did note that he was ready with the Smart Milk before the baby was even born. Does that make up for whipping out his journal? Anyway, this update tickled my funny bone. And the girls are adorable in their little baby clothes.

  7. Mao, too true!

Beverly, thanks! He did have smart milk - I think he was getting that for Bianca - that one's going to be a little smartie-pants.

Mandie, she is cute! I do hope she grows into her cheeks a little better though ;)
