summer of love, part 1: engagements

June 2077, Patrick Nova is 26, Lara Boyd is 24, Jeremy Nova is 62, Alice is 56, Stephanie is 17.

This June update is actually two households, and pretty long, so you'll get it in two parts :)

Patrick and Lara moved into their three-bedroom townhome on West Washington Drive after she graduated last year. Patrick's immense talent on the piano has earned him quite a bit more money than most people their age have.

Lara was not the least bit surprised when Patrick suggested they turn their living room into a recording studio.

waiting on whatever comes next

May 2077, Orlando Centowski is 62, Audrey is 61, Luke is 18. (Mariah Riley is 18.)

Luke's mom is acting weird lately. He is her last baby to leave home, and supposedly that's a pretty big deal for a mom. She often stops him and says, "Wait, right there, I want to remember you like this." His parents have always been kind of weird though.

May 2077, Cody Bradshaw is 58, Kendal Bradshaw is 56, Cameron Gibson is 26, Marisa Wilson is 23, Charlotte Centowski is 23.

(Emergency update! This household was already played this round, and I was just moving Charlotte in after graduation, not even five minutes and all hell breaks loose! I swear bad luck must follow this girl wherever she goes.)

What you see here is wrong on so many levels, and let me try to explain how. This is Bryson Riley (Cody's brother-in-law, married to Cody's sister Madison), getting pretty darn chummy with Autumn Bradshaw (Cody's ex-wife), with Cody in plain view!!! You just don't get more drama than that!!!

LCU, unattainable

LCU, spring semester, 2077

Jason calls and says he wants to take Bella to Lost in Love Hedge Maze. She should have known something was fishy. He knows she's not the lovey-dovey type.

Jason says, "I think we'd be really good together."

Bella says, "Um, what are you doing?" He doesn't even get as far as to ask the question.

April 2077, Jackson Phoenix and Nessa (Curtain) Phoenix are 28.

Jackson Phoenix and Nessa Curtain met their freshman year of college, though didn't start dating until their junior year. They are finally getting around to tying the knot this spring.

March 2077, Cody Bradshaw is 58, Kendal Bradshaw is 56, Cameron Gibson is 26, Marisa Wilson is 23.

Marisa, Roland, Charlotte and Cameron are all out one night at the Lulu Lounge, getting their drink on, chilling to some music. Charlotte's been going on and on about Heather - the newly married Mrs. Heather Thompson. Marisa's been hearing a lot about Heather lately, and it doesn't take a genius to see that Charlotte is SO not over Adam, still.

February 2077, Hayden and Rhianna Phoenix are 28, Summer is 13, Ryanne is 7.

Hayden and Rhianna Phoenix are 28 years old, and their oldest, Summer is 13. They were fifteen when they had Summer (oops!), and now that Ryanne is in kindergarten, and at the ripe old age of 28 they are officially done, and terrified of having another. They worry sometimes that they've gotten too boring for their age.

January, 2077, Joel Harris is 36, Aurora is 32.

The love story of Aurora and Joel is an epic one. They first fell in love when she was fourteen and he was eighteen. Needless to say, this freaked out both of their parents quite a bit. They've been on-again-off-again-on-again (for good?) ever since, and have been married three years now.

lighter times for a cursed family

December 2076, Maxwell Shaw is 31, Valerie is 36, Angelo is 5, and welcome baby Devon!

Maxwell Shaw lives with his wife Valerie and son Angelo in the old west end of Lake City, and they are actually just around the corner from his mother, Nina Shaw-Gothier. Things have been quiet for this family lately, which is strange since their family is supposedly cursed, and it only makes them all wonder if they're about due for another tragedy.

It is winter now, and little baby Shaw is keeping everyone waiting. Angelo started kindergarten just this fall and any day now, he's going to be a big brother.

November 2076, Adam Thompson and Heather (Hurt) Thompson are 24.

Adam and Heather move into a home on Brant Street, just a couple houses down from Nathan and Allegra. Though they graduated in the same class as Allegra, they never managed to become friends with her. They were shy, and didn't have many friends. She was shy and didn't have many friends. Who knows... maybe they'll bump into her one of these days.

LCU, only have eyes for...

LCU, fall semester, 2076

There could have been a problem back in August, when there's only one ultra-posh residence hall on campus, and two rich cousins who hate each other who want to live there. Bella says, "Are you still not over that? That was like three years ago!"

The way Amelia sees it, Alon made a mistake - after all, she was Bella Bradshaw doing whatever she did to men, so it was almost expected. But Bella, her cousin, who she grew up with like a sister, had committed an unforgivable sin. Needless to say, Amelia holds one hell of a grudge.

October 2076, Blake Miller is 32, Clarice is 31.

The townhomes along West Washington Drive are very popular among Lake City's yuppie crowd. Each home has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, with a small yard in back. They are perfect for young college graduates who may or may not be ready to start a family. Close to the West End's club scene, across the street from City Park, and right in the heart of the downtown business district. Just right for newlywed professional couples like Blake and Clarice.

October 2076, Adrian Jackson and Aurora Miguel are 44, Beau and Tyler Jackson are 12.

The boys are going on fourteen this year, and though Adrian is forty-five, he is honestly nothing more than a teenage boy himself. He owns an arcade, for crying out loud! If it weren't for Aurora sometimes these boys wouldn't know night from day! At least somebody in this house has her head on straight.

September 2076, Delphie, Dakota, Robert, Angelo, and Ryanne are all turning 5!

Because there are so many kids starting kindergarten this school year in Lakeside Heights, I figured it would be easiest just to give them their own post.
