one day, an earthly goddess is born...

October 2083 - Fiona McCullough is 16.

One day, Fiona McCullough, our (not-so) friendly neighborhood Wiccan, finally feels ready to try her hand at some of these things she's been studying. She's been waiting for the moment to feel right. She's a very careful and calculating girl, and she wanted all the pieces in their right places. After all, when one is plotting world domination, laying a perfect groundwork is essential!

Not that anyone would be surprised, but studying the "dark magics" sections of her book always sends a jolt of glee through her heart. She sneaks out of the house early in the mornings, so she can sneak back in before her parents are up for breakfast.

Sometimes she thinks her dad notices all these early hours, the odd smells she brings home on her clothing. She sprays her boyfriend's cologne on her collar before she sneaks back in, so her parents will just think she was making out with him behind the bushes. She doesn't care if she gets banned from seeing him. Boys are replaceable.

Victim #1 endures the results of a concoction of newt's eye and viper venom - bees love this stuff.

Some of them are simply asking for it! The nerve of them, walking by, complaining of loud explosions and burning smells!

Fiona has mastered very simple mental suggestions so far. With a potion on her breath, her words are like hypnotism. "You are a chicken, you are a chicken..." The woman begins to cluck. "You will follow me and be my minion..."

And when she went to pick up a new book this week, they were passing out freebie costumes to go along with them. They made her wear it out of the store as part of the promotion (she needed the deal - she has no job, after all), which only meant she would have to redo her hair. Do you have any idea how long it takes to get those perfect tousled waves???

Her newest ambition is attempting to create fire from her god-like hands! She's failed every single time so far, but she refuses to equate this to her lack of godliness. So she thought maybe if she picked up a stick and pointed at a spot on the ground, like she's seen in movies, it might work better.

It didn't.

So she'll go on to practice another day. No earthly goddess came into her own on her very first day - though she was hoping she would. She's laying out the groundwork, and building a solid and surefire plan. World domination is hard work, people!

Her daddy is not amused, lol!

Ha! She's clearly some sort of deity, fire or not. Fiona is awesome.

When I temporarily made Collette a witch, Kirstin rolled the want for her to be cured. Collette was bad enough without being a witch on top of it!

  3. Hmmm... I've never played a witch... but this looks kind of fun! It so fits with Fiona's personality, too.

And, am I the only one who's hovered the mouse pointer over someone else's screenshot, to see what the other wants are? :)

  4. Leave it to you to find a "not-so-friendly" wiccan practiticioner lurking in one of your Sims. That surprise, and the humor (as Carla quoted), are two of the things I most enjoy about Lakeside Heights.

  5. Riverdale, I know, lol! Sims and their telepathy! I'm not sure to what extent he knows for the story, but maybe he does sense something is going on.

Carla, she's a lot of fun :) No, I wouldn't want to live in the same house as Collette the witch either!

Blackcat, I do that too, lol! Totally! Shame it never works ;)

Francesca, thanks! Happy to amuse! :) I know I always said I wouldn't have any of the "turned" Sim-states in this hood, so I can't remember what inspired me to make Fiona a witch. I'm fascinated by RL Wicca and Neopaganism though and I'd love to learn more about it to write it properly into a "real" story some day.

  6. Ah, Fiona are friendly neighborhood witch. Lol! But truly everyone loves Fiona and, Fiona, dear, if your daddy knows then you're going to need to put some more colonge on.

Laura, if you need any info on Neopaganism, I can help with that.

Ha! Oh, Fiona, what would we do without you?

  8. Loved this entry, lol! Very heavy game play post that sparkles with your writing. Indeed-- world domination isn't done in a day. I know it's taken me at least ten years-- ooh... I mean Rome wasn't built in a day.

  9. Victoria, thanks! I might need to take you up on that sometime! I don't have any questions in mind right now, but I'll let you know when I do.

Tessa, it would be a dull place without her!

    Lunar, lol! Thank you! :)

  10. Could Fiona be any more entertaining? I think not. Has anyone noticed she ALWAYS stands with her hands on her hips, one hip pushed out. Like a true diva, lol!

"World domination is hard work, people!"

    hahahahaha loved this!

  13. Does anyone know where Fiona's hair is from? I'd absolutely love it in my game :)

    1. Anon, if I recall, I think it might be a Nouk hair? But it's been a very long time since I browsed TS2 CC, so I could be wrong. Take a look at my TS2 CC page for links!
