Bella and Cameron aren't as scared this time around. Having been through this before, they know you just need to feed them, bathe them, and hug them. It's pretty easy, in fact. Maybe they'll pop out a couple more of these things.

Good luck with that, Cam.
Cameron puts the girls down for bed so Bella can get some rest. Jodie goes over the usual afterbirth instructions, and then since she finds him quite pleasant to be around, she continues talking, something about that oil spill that happened near Alaska a few weeks ago...

Silly Jodie, doesn't she know Cameron wouldn't know an oil spill if he fell into one?

Jodie says, "Is that really necessary?"
In any case, Bella Bradshaw, Cameron Gibson, and big sister Delilah, would like to welcome baby Naomi.

"It might be a while," he says. "You know?"
"Yeah," she says. "At least six weeks."
"You wanna?"
"I could go for some," she says.

"What?"
"Ehhhh," she whines. "It hurts!" Maybe there was another reason she woke up so early. "Don't just sit there, call the doctor," she says.

Lillian Riley-Kim is born at 8:00 in the morning, and has her daddy's dark hair, and grandpa Bryson's brown eyes.
Justin says, "Good job, babe, I'm proud of you."

But Justin is just amazed by his wife right now. He's never seen her work so hard, all for somebody else, this pretty little girl. He thought he wanted a boy at one time, but he's glad they got Lillian, even if she grows up proud and demanding just like her mommy.
Keri and Justin Kim would like to welcome baby Lillian.

notes: OMG, girls! This game MUST be completely gender-biased! For my current child-infant generation (counting Sam with the teens since he's almost aging up and there's a huge gap after him), I have 12 girls to 7 boys. Not as bad as some I've seen happening lately in other neighborhoods, but still! Huge girl-bias!
But anyway, YAY that so many of this generation's babies are being born with my non-default skintones! I love them, very well detailed and they have awesome freckles :) (Link on the CC page). Sarah Harris was the first to get one, but it was another 10 years or so before I had another one. Now I'm getting them all the time :)
My game is biased toward girls right now too. But the last baby boom I had was biased toward boys, so I guess my game is trying to make it up to me. ;)
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, yay for the new babies! LOL @ Bella trying to "subtly" send a message to Jodie. ;) And Delilah is so adorable!
I get that girl-bias all the time. I have to create young adult men myself so the girls can have more than just townies to choose from.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the new little girls. I've also had a crop of baby girls recently...the last boy was adopted in, and then one of the Dawson twins was a boy, but otherwise-nothing but girls for the last 5 babies birthed.
ReplyDeleteYay more girls. I was going to comment on that since its seems like you had a whole bunch lately. Sounds like drama in the teen years with these two.
ReplyDeleteWelcome baby girls!
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh, can you imagine two more Bellas running around the hood in around 15-20 years? Cameron will definitely need some good luck! I bet Naomi will be beautiful, just like her big sister.
I can't wait to see Lillian grow up and I *really* hope her mum will be around to see it too.
Heh, maybe you'll be lucky and a couple of the girls will be gay and they'll pair off together! Girl streaks are annoying!
Are those non-defaults geneticised to fit in between the defaults, are they? Those kinds are the best. That's the main reason I switched from Soft Touch to Dermalicious. It's so nice having so many different skin tones walking around the hood, instead of just the base .
Lol, I was really wondering how Keri was going to do in labor. That's exactly how I pictured it! All of your girls are so funny to me, I usually get all boys. I'm glad to see that Bella and Cameron are happy about this new baby! They really have such a cute little family now.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to comment on the little details that you add into your stories, and how much I love it. Giving Lillian a hyphenated surname, for example. That is totally something that Keri would insist on, having her last name for her baby. I'm not sure if that's why you gave her that name, but it totally fits Keri's personality to do something like that. I love seeing those little glimpses into the character behind the sim, and you really are wonderful at showing them.
Shana, you know what, you're right, you did have a boy-boom, didn't you? You have a lot of boys in your current YAs right now.
ReplyDeletezsc, agreed, I might have to stock up my townie pool :)
Apple, thanks, crazy isn't it?
heredon, thanks! Oh my, I've checked their personalities already, and all of these little girls are going to be a lot of fun. Delilah has only 1 nice point, and Naomi has none! LOL! Mariah's Quinn is going to be my favorite though, I think.
I can't wait to see them grow up and evolve. Even if they don't grow up in Lakeside Heights, a lot of these little ones have already made an impression, and are definitely going to stick with me :)
Sullivan, here's hoping for some lesbians, lol! You know what happened to me in my last big girl-boom though (from Charlotte to Keri), the one boy I had, Luke, turned out gay instead, lol!
Mandie, I don't know why, but I totally see Bella and Cameron having a whole litter, lol! Maybe it's because they love the "creation process" so much, lol! At least one more. We'll see how they feel after the wedding ;)
Thanks, I'm glad you notice the names - I'm really very picky about what I name these kids. I try to pick names based on what the parents would pick, rather than what I like, or what I would pick for my own children.
I love it when you guys pick up on my dorky little details, lol! It makes it all worth doing :)
Sullivan, sorry, I missed your question! I think I might have had to make the skins genetic myself. But it was easy enough, and totally worth doing! I agree, I love having the variety!
