pretty faces and the noses we inherit
October, 2074, Cabe is 34, Ashlee is 36, and Natalia is turning 5. Pet cat is Sake.
Ashlee Deppiesse has become a dynamic force in the culinary world. Every single cookbook or blender she puts her name on (or is it the pretty face?) sells like hotcakes, no pun intended ;) Ashlee is a restaurateur and owns Deppiesse's Lakefront Bistro in Lakeside Heights.
Her husband, Cabe, is the youngest child of the Deppiesse family. Like his brother, Orion, Cabe graduated at the top of his class and is now a high-ranking general in The Military, which is exactly what he really wanted to do with his life. He doesn't at all mind spending his extra time at home with little Natalia while his wife builds her restaurant enterprise. She put a fortune into building this restaurant, so they all hope it pays off.
Natalia is growing up so fast, and they are pretty sure their family is complete now. Neither one of them are spring chickens anymore.
Natalia is a kind and curious little girl. She has a quiet birthday celebration at home with her parents and grows up well. She has the Deppiesse family nose, which thankfully looks a little better on girls than the boys, and who knows, she just might end up being pretty in a more unconventional way. She finds herself naturally talented at stacking blocks.
And curious, I said. As you can see I wasn't kidding. A little too curious for her own good maybe?
gameplay notes: my Sims take care of their own family planning in my game. I use ACR, modified very carefully to a perfect balance so that most couples will end up wanting at least one child, some couples will want two, and very few will want more than that. Depending on the pairing, some couples may never end up trying to have a baby. I like this because it allows me to pretend that they make these kinds decisions on their own. It gives me some variety to family sizes and spacings. And it also allows me to not feel too badly when a genetically blessed couple goes childless - it was their choice! And besides, too many pretty-pretties in a neighborhood gets kind of boring.
Oh,I so agree with that point of view! I don't think I ever had more than one or two per family in my game.:)Back then, I knew nothing of sims stories and sim challenges...
