poll: which character deserves "best performance" in a drama at a holiday party?

I went ahead and let our poll expire, because 1.) with the new posting pace, it'll be weeks more before we get through the rest of our holiday parties, 2.) because I was kind of bored of it, and because 3.) everybody is just voting for Jodie over and over again anyway? lol!

- Corbin and Stephanie tied for third place with 5 votes and 6%.

- Amelia scored second place with 26 votes and 31%.

And, dear readers, the character you deemed deserving of "best performance" in a drama at a holiday party...

Jodie, who ransacked both her own life and several others, and then managed to find a bit of inner peace, all in the space of about thirty-five minutes! Now that, people, is talent!

next poll: uh-oh, Leila went and made contact! How long do you think it'll be before she and Corbin end up in bed together?

Note: of course, I already know the answer to this one - I want to see if you guys can guess. ;)

  3. LOL, RB - poor Leila. I'm going to hold back on voting because I'm not sure. I can see them moving pretty fast or never ending up in bed at all but I can also see everything in between. Hmmm.

I will say though that I probably would have voted for Leila but I think you closed the poll before the last update! But I think her decision is ultimately going to cause more ripples than Jodie at the party. I actually voted for Amelia though, just to be different and because she put on quite the performance herself. ;)

  4. Riverdale, she hasn't even done anything yet! You're a harsh critic! ;)

Kara-Jane, ah, having her own place would certainly make that easier, lol!

Carla, I had to let that poll go. If I'd held out through all of the holiday parties, it would be up until March - it's already been up since September! I went back and checked, lol!

But Amelia did well in the poll too.

  6. Simphaesis, ha, 20 years! Wonder if Corbin will be needing a little blue pill by that point? lol! <-- *Corbin is not amused by that joke* :D

  7. I don't see them making love anytime soon. I actually think that Corbin will hold back because he's afraid of being hurt again.

  8. Monique, ah, good point! I think you might be the first to mention that possibility. She did do him a lot of damage, for sure!

  9. I'm giving it six months. I think he'll be worried about jumping in too soon, and I think she's going to want to see what it's like to stand on her own a bit first. She got into her marriage because she was swept up, and she might question any tendency she has to do something like that again. Their relationship isn't all about the physical attraction, so they might be able to hold off for a little while. I also think she might try to focus on her children a bit at first--dealing with their reactions will likely be one of her first priorities, and I think Corbin would respect and encourage that.
